I have lived in Wales for over twenty years now and I still find the landscape and people to be a constant source of inspiration for my painting.

I paint mostly in acrylic. Usually on primed board rather than canvas. I prefer a smooth base surface to paint on as I find that canvas texture can be distracting.

I try to capture the mood and light of a subject whether it be a portrait or landscape and endeavor to convey some emotion invoked by the subject.
